4-H Needs Help!!!

Iowa has taken some major budget cuts recently and some may affect 4-H! One of the cuts to Iowa State University may end up taking $500,000 from the Iowa 4-H program. There are not many options for what we can do, but one that we can is write letters. For more information, please check the email I'm sending to everyone

Are You Ready For The Fair?

With deadlines fast approaching, and some already past, the fair is on its way. The date for the Polk County Fair this year is July 15th through 20th. See “Upcoming Events” section below for more details.

Meeting Held at SEP High School
4/8/09
Three clubs joined at Southeast Polk High School on April 6th to learn about parliamentary procedure and hold their meetings. The clubs present were New Beginnings, Innovators, and Altoona Hustling Herdsmen. We joined to meet new people and learn how to run meetings more efficiently.
